I just worked on tug games today. Logan was spastic, so I ran with him to the school ground...then played tug. I got brave and ran away with it, letting him hit it running after me. I was able to keep my feet under me, he slipped a few times which made hi crazier. It was fun, then we ran back home.
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.
Radar and I just worked on the heel to help him calm down for the night.
Mercy went to Petco for some dog food and toy shopping, but ended up doing some basic pet obedience because she wanted to drag me to the bone isle. After that we played fetch at the dog park and I decided to take her to practice next Wednesday and see if Dave can help me figure out how to motivate her even if it's just for pet tricks. She's food driven and toy driven, but it's hit or miss if she'll go with it or not. She's got ample amounts of prey drive, but only when it's obviously a prey animal or one of those stuff-free toys. I can't recreate that without bringing a flirt pole out on the field or looking like a complete fool bent in half trying to entice my dog to kill the squirrel.
Bring her Sunday. He'll find a few minutes to check her out. I also have some ideas about how to amp her food drive to motivate her.
Don't feed her before coming.

My quest continues for a reaction free walk and this evening we scored a big win. I was walking both dogs and we made it out and back without a reaction. Bingo!

I am very happy that you didn't get a reaction.
I am going to be nice, but blunt.
Please only walk Jethro by himself. You had trouble just yesterday with him. There is nothing to gain by having Skipper with you, and lots to lose. Please, for my sanity, walk Jethro alone until you have a good solid month of NO bad reactions at all. You have come so far Jenny. You really have done well, but this could stop your progress right here, forever.
Jog both dogsand Dex did not stop or whined at all.
Tracking with Harley in the wood with mosquitoes the size of a baseball. He did real well considering the distraction level. On the way back he started to sniff my shoes and indicate my earlier shoe prints in the mud. Funny dog!!
