Should I ask?

Reaction free morning walk.
This is awesome to hear, I know you have been working for a long time. Glad you haven't given up on him. How old is he now?
Speaking of walking 2 dogs at a time ...I walked 2 dutchies at a time...but I first trained them individually. One was very reactive, the other exuberant and friendly. They both had to be in balance for the walks to work...I had to be very keyed into them and stop anything before it happened (they were easy compared to Logan and likely Jethro as well). That's right, I had to stop and correct one for the littlest thing, no matter what the other was doing. Even if the other dog is not reactive, just the presence of them being in an excited state will set things off. Just sayin'.

Tracking this morning, with small steps toward the next level. I'm still laying three 50ft legs using a toe-to-heel step and baiting every third step. I've also been throwing in a randomly baited leg occasionally.
This morning we tracked over newly-cut (Friday am) grass. I laid the same pattern, but added a fourth leg in the middle, which was randomly baited, sometimes up to 10ft without a bait. She stayed solid throughout, even when she found ants on a few baits, and when she was sneezing after a snort of dried fresh-cut grass. It was reassuring to see her clearing her nostrils so that she could get her nose back down in the grass. She was most thorough on the randomly baited leg.
We've been introducing articles off-track for two weeks, and Sadie is beginning to understand that she has to down in the correct position without a command. We ended today's tracking with a baby track. We did three 15ft legs using our toe-to-heel, baited every third step pattern. The two turns were right angles baited heavily, and there was an article in each leg. She needed a little help (down command) on the first article, but offered downs on the other two. The 90 degree turns were no problem.
All in all, I was extremely pleased with today's tracking.

reaction free walk
mid afternoon
Jethro solo
6 ft. leash on halti collar
low - medium distraction - dogs in distance (across street, across field)
multiple venues - familiar local sidewalks, soccer field
OB - recall, Focus and re-connect (checking in with me for a treat, breaking gaze), Sit, Down, Wait, This Way, Halt
behaviour - calming signals grass sniffing (finding treats tossed in the grass) as a dog(s) passed by fairly close

Tracking this morning, not having to drag the heel back to the toe anymore. He's 16 weeks now. Also laid the track in a serpentine pattern instead of straight, baited every step. He did really well and stayed on the track. Tomorrow I will double the length of the track. Then we did a little bite work on the rag, I can already cradle during the bite. He has a very calm bite and tons of drive. He's going to be fun when he gets older.

I tried to work around distraction at the HS but I think I was more distracted than Logan, my head hurts...its a "mild" migraine. He did ok actually, he ignored everything but a rabbit and bailed on a fetch for a bush. Walking back with the traffic on my right side was no fun...I had to keep my eye shut.

He must have 20 50 lb bags of turkey food on board by now, at least
The thing has become sort of a pet, it struts around, it's beard drags on the ground.
He used to be "the man" but has lost his potency. They don't taste good at this point, so we just keep feeding it.
Sorta dumb.
