My sister saw the movie first, and she didn't spoil it for me but told me it had one of our favorite songs from our (much) younger days! "How's the new Dark Shadows? I think it helps if you remember the old series, and if you are also a JD fan, and if you understand the MO of Tim Burton.

While it was watchable, I would have preferred a darker, more accurate take on the old soap opera, still utizing Depp. I thought he was the only properly-cast role. Sadie
