Connie, I want to clarify my previous post. I realized I omitted one of the symptoms of the flare-ups and that is discharge from the eye. Also, any one of the symptoms can mean a flare-up. Sometimes, there can also be an inflammation of the third eyelid which may or may not be associated with corneal pannus.
Wow, thanks to all for the info, I am not sure if it is panus, just that it looks more like that than anything else I had researched. Also, I am calling the eye doc today, don't want to wait the week either at this point! It will be great if we can manage it, I haven't seen her effected so far from the eye sight, but don't know really. So, I will let all know when I get the answer. Thanks again, Judy
