Well, like I said, kudos to you for wondering and doing further research. Too many don't.
I will say that at least this guy is happy to spread the word about the true aspects of the pet food industry. More people do need to know the truth about what is going on.
Unfortunately he has gone off on a ridiculous tangent quoting researchers form the 1700 to validify his theories. He speaks of his ideas with enough conviction that many will follow him in this line of thought and NOT question as you so intelligently did.
The books that Kristel linked to are very good places to start and the pages on this site are also full of free information. But this forum will give you all of the advice you will ever need to get a healthy and easy start to raw feeding.

Congrats on converting to raw. I hope you find it as beneficial for your dog as it's been for mine. I always enjoy it when people decide to research before they make the leap.
This person is trying to sell books. Not that there is anything wrong with selling books but they commit a few cardinal rules of snake oil sales on their website.
#1 Inflammatory language designed to emotionally distress the reader into believing that they have all the answers. I have little patience for this in any forum.
#2 No sources listed in their "science" They claim to reference studies but don't list them. Real science is in peer reviewed journals. All other stuff is opinion. You have to pay for their source material. X( As a professional in a science field he would know this.
#3 A convincing costume. Really you can put anyone in a lab coat with some science stuff and it makes them look like a professional.
On the plus side at least you can read the old copies of his books for free. I can't speak to the other breeds but he got the breed history for papillons wrong, he did have nice little map with a pointer going to what I think was France that took up half the page. He does nothing to bring up the current trains of thought going to his conclusions, or proper evidence that this is truly a better path.
Makes me think of the "Eat for Your Blood Type" fad that happened a number of years ago. That doesn't make sense either, and was debunked long ago. People love to have these "original" takes on issues.
The people here and their recommendations will get you where you need to go with the raw diet. I don't want to leave anyone out because so many here came forward, but I still can't get over the amount of help I got from Connie, Michael, Anne, Barbara, Kristel,Jessica, Melisa, Natalya, Katie, and others. It's humbling, and incredibly generous.
