That was a hard decision!! I went back and forth, but ended up going with Volume 1 - can't wait to start reading it this weekend!

Book came today - woo-hoo!!!

I glanced through it briefly - wow! Looks technical, but in a good mind stretching way. I'm sure I'm really going to enjoy it and learn a lot!! The timing was great on this purchase as I'm just finishing up a semester of Psyc - I think it's going to help me with some of the terminology, etc

I keep checking the UPS tracking. Right now my books are in Shrewsbury, MA. I'm getting them tomorrow.

I think I just realized why it was good for me (no, not for normal people) that I started with the third: http://leerburg.com/952b.htm

For me, starting with the "where it all leads to in daily life-with-dogs" volume probably made http://leerburg.com/952.htm and http://leerburg.com/952a.htm less daunting.

Because yes, much of it (particularly Volume 1, for me) was challenging reading.

But it was also loaded with lightbulb moments! There was never a time when I thought "Oh, the heck with this" and let the book sit and collect dust.

What I DID do was have a novel going at the same time, with each of the three, so I had two reading choices every time I sat down to read. (Also, I like to read in bed, and the weight of any of the three Lindsay volumes made that a tad impractical. At least without hired book-holder and page-turner staff.)

This series, plus LB's DVD #219 (Power of Markers), and the LB/Ellis DVD #220 (Power of Food) have probably provided me with more dog-behavior clarity and direction than anything else I have bought to read or to view in my mmph-ty years of life.

I love to read in bed, and very often doze off to wake up by being smacked the face with whatever im reading!

Guess these ones would be a very bad idea for night time reading.
