To be honest, I don't see anything terrible. No worse then scratching that 'spot' that causes them to spaz.
I think if this was happening over scratching a spot I would feel better.
The husky I had learned really early on that if he dropped his weight, my husband couldn't move him to get him outside/in the crate/in the vehicle etc. At first, my husband thought it was funny, but as the dog got older and my husband actually had to get somewhere, it became impossible for him to get the dog to move. In the end, the dog started biting him when my husband would try to make him do anything. It went on for the life of the dog, my husband always having to be vigilant and not push the dog. I am certain it was a mix of a habit to lash out and bite, combined with my husband having never corrected him from the beginning as this dog NEVER bit me. He did try once, and lets just say he learned from the correction.
I should say my husband is not a dog trainer at all - not even on a pet level. So it was easy for him to get in trouble with the dog. As someone else pointed out, this does look like a new handler/owner, so lets hope he doesn't get himself in trouble.

I thought perhaps they were just trying to video the dog saying, "No", which was cute.
The puppy has a soft body attitude. I hope they don't tease him that way all the time, though.
What a pretty pup. Beautiful markings.

I think even if he was teaching the pup to say no, I see no reward be it treat, verbal or toy. Just being an ass to the pup.

I agree. I dont see why we are all upset with this guy.
Hes obviously made the video for "YouTube reasons".
You guys do realize some people live off youtube views. I have a few friends with dogs that get big fat checks from youtube, the more outrageous, amazing, funny, or strange the video, the better.
And honestly, you all are making me feel bad.
I do the same sorta load with my dog. (ask her what she likes and if she wants her meds ECT)
She knows we are messing and moaning and rolling all over is allowed.
Now if i stand up and say "Okay, get get up. Now. Kennel." She would jump right up and be be bolting right into the kennel.ECT.

The OP asked about this as a training/behavior issue--which is pretty easy to see, if it's being judged for that.
But the dog has a home, and looks like he's fed, healthy, and loved. There are so many dogs that don't have those things that I find it hard to criticize any owner that hasn't specifically asked me for advice on their training (or feeding or anything else).
But I would like to know more about these "big fat checks from YouTube." If being a spaz can draw a salary, I've got a couple here that need to sign up!

BTW, the regulars here have seen this in action (almost certainly unsuccessfully, I should add), with one poster who put clip after clip after clip after clip of his pack into every post, despite the useless and even detrimental content, to generate ad revenue. Most of us completely stopped clicking to avoid giving him hits for those clips. (Of course, that's at the bottom of the youtube effort. 99.99% of the clips we see linked here are well worth watching. )

Brianah;
These viewpoints have nothing at all to do with you. MY comment about what I saw was based solely on these three things...
Every dog has different nerves. Some handle teasing well, especially with someone who knows dogs well.
When my face is that close to a dog that I'm teasing and I see the whites of his eyes, I back off a little, and
Youtube capitalizes on many types of asinine behavior. I don't like copstalkers or skaters, either.

I doubt that the user's of this forum could even make a dent in the views of this youtube video. He has only one video on his channel and the counter shows 7.8 million views within two weeks? I would love to know, what keywords he uses, or how it happened, that he got so many views in this short amount of time. And he has no commercial running in this video, therefore no check from Google...

You're right that I was way off this topic and this clip.
My post was replying to Tracy's query about how people use youtube to get ad dollars. I wasn't talking about the clip in the O.P. at all.
