Awesome pup!!! Love the biting pic! My dutch is 9 year old and will still try to pick up anything and chomp it or eat it. A good solid out, leave-it and yuck (I use nasty) are essential!
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.

I have switched it up a bit and it is working well. Stopped telling him no and use leave it. I no longer pull him away I tell him leave it and give him tugs on his prong collar until he walks away on his own and when he does I give him a treat. It went from constant correcting him to only a few on our walks. He is still fascinated by lantana and a weed called malva which both have irritating little hairs on them. For the most part he is now just sniffing the ground and I do nothing until he starts to mouth the object.
