I hate to interrupt all this fun we never have here, but do you straight ahead raw feeders throw a carcass to the wolfs' (so to speak) hide, fur and all?
The reason I ask is because I live in a high deer kill zone myself. It falls off in the deep winter, but pretty much year round there is always some deer meat because of auto traffic mostly.
So the question is: I can just throw a carcass out for the dog with no skinning or gutting and let her have a grand time for a day or three or four?

I cut everything up and that way it lasts me for a month or two.....they do get the ribcages to chew on for a day.
I use a saws all to cut the ribs up into 5 or 6 chunks, one for each dog.....they do not get their evening meal when I do this.
With as many dogs as I have, making things (like carcass) last is one of the ways I can keep costs down......

My dogs eat goat and lamb heads with fur on them. No problem.
They also eat whole furred rabbits very frequently. No problem.
Your dogs will know what they can eat...actually they will "gut it" themselves by shaking out the intestines. I think you will find that most everything else will disappear. :-)
Although, I don't know how hard deer legs are. I do know that cattle leg bones are too hard for dog teeth and can cause some damage.
It will be fun to watch them eat this!

If you have THAT much deer, then I guess you could do that, but I feed it hacked up so there's not so much wasted. Also, I don't want them eating every time they go outside, so I can't just leave it outside. But from a fundamental level, sure, you could do this, as long as the temp. stays low.
Also, only one dog helps. I would have a complete bloodbath if I let dogs out to eat a deer together. Someone would end up dead for sure. I do not remove any fur that doesn't come off in the process. Lately, they've been chewing on a pelt and have cleaned it off quite well. Mia now uses it as a rug in her house. And she NEVER lets the boys on it!
The only thing to remember is to keep an eye out for worms in the dog. No biggie, but if you start seeing symptoms, worm her.

If you mean, do we feed heads....then yes, some of us do....but if it is a good head (and rack) on a buck, it usually goes on the wall .....I kept my antlers but the head is in the freezer for later feeding.
I like to freeze all my wild game meat, thus killing most, if not all of the parasites. I do, however worm on a regular basis.
