It WILL be a turd that looks like it is formed from several little turds like that when there is a little too much bone. The bit of mucous says maybe a little too much bone, too. I don't see anything drastic in the pic, though. Turbo's regularly look like that after eating some bonier items. Beautiful turd. One to be proud of. Framed, even.

Properly walked it gets delivered but not in a usual way (one after another) but as a cluster of harder turds, compared to the other 3 dogs eating the same diet.

And it may not take much of an adjustment in meat or fat to see a difference, either.

You might not have this kind of choice when you get to the store, because you'll probably want a capsule that you can open and sprinkle rather than the gigantic tablets. Coral calcium is probably not worth the extra money. I've read some studies saying that calcium bound to an organic acid is absorbed better than calcium carbonate.

My people nutrition books say this, too. I've never seen calcium citrate in anything other than a tablet, though. But, I haven't looked very hard, either.
