Connie - your explanation makes me understand why I chose to start with #1! I like to know what makes things tick, kind of like the science behind it all. I mean, I read a sheep vet manual several years ago when I getting into sheep in a big way so I could better understand how to take care of them
I think your point is really good on the marker and food DVDs. When I started watching the ME clips I was like - wow this guy makes sooo much sense. I had to get the DVDs and they are seriously what I'd reccomend to any new dog owner - so clear and concise and the system makes total sense to me! I'm thinking if I hadn't already been very familiar with the idea of marker training, desenstizing, etc, I probably would have chosen book #3 first.
Ah, needing cheaters already? I hate tiny print!
The bad thing is, I have bifocals now and yet sometimes, I have to take my glasses off to read anyway. ??? Must be in between needing them and not still.
Are you enjoying your wonderful library of new books? I can't wait to get these myself when we don't have a million house projects taking all our extra money.
Happy reading to you and Mara!
yeah, that print is really tiny. I can read it okay, but a touch larger would have been nice.
My problem is I can't read for much more than 5 minutes without stopping to digest what I've read or look up words in the dictionary but it is brain stretching, so I like it!
Its really bad, but I can't read them for more than five minutes without glasses. The print is so small that looks like its moving!
I will be calling the eye doctor on monday for sure
You might really give the "cheapies" a try first - they work great! (Try on the different strengths and take your dog behavior book to test on that tiny text!)
