Not being snotty....just could not resist!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
When you think about it, if you take a top trained young Sch3 say 3 years old, that has bred a few times and the pups look great, and someone wants $20,000.00 for this dog, it has taken this person about two years or so to train this dog, plus food and the cost of the dog, this is less then the minimum wage in developed countries.
Take a dog that is three and the BSP winnner or even five years old, and placed in the top ten, this dog if from the popular bloodlines, it will bring in a good profit a year from stud, and from pups if you own a few bitches. If you are luckey and he stays healthy.
So which dogs bring the most money? Show seigers or Shc3 winners? Or this as black and white as it seem? It all adds up to green, but which branch makes the most money with the minimal effort? Would you really freeze a IPO winners sprem or a World quailty Show dog. Which has the longest value in its life time? What is age that each has to retire on average.
