Sorry, could not revise and was not being smart aleck. I meant, Why would the RSPCA get you for feeding squirrel? I honestly do not know.
Out here, they are wild and too many of them. You have to kill some of them off. And if you have ever eaten them in a stew, they are tasty.
You can't just go out and kill a wild animal no matter how much of a nuisance it is and if you send the dog out for them, well that's regarded as hunting and that's the next thing being banned- crazy country I live in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I really don't think you'd be prosecuted for killing grey squirrels in UK, as they are classified as vermin, I believe.
You would need to be able to demonstrate that you are killing them without causing undue suffering (eg .22 lead-poisoning!).
My 80+ sister, a keen gardener in UK, traps them(in a 'live' squirrel-trap) and then 'disposes' of them (I didn't ask how!).
Wow. Did I open a can of worms with that one.
I was talking about they grey squirrel. We do not let the dogs hunt them. The human do and shoot them, no suffering. We are obviously more in the country here.
Have you fed deer, elk or bear meat? It is also good. We don't make them suffer either.

I've read somewhere that bear meat is too likely to be infested with parasites (Trichinella) to be safe for raw feeding. I don't recall what I was reading, but I do remember that it referred to this country.
