I agree with Tracey.
Also, I view staying upbeat as a pact I took on when I acquired dogs. Dogs live in the now, and I have no business sending anxiety and fear down the leash. This is JMO ....
You asked about the C word ..... there are many possibilities besides cancer.
Please post back about the result of a tiny meal of bland chicken and rice.

Did your vet recommend the Pepcid followed up by the Sucralfate? The Sucralfate reacts with acid to form a barrier but Pepcid reduces acid. Maybe they need to be given a little further apart? The most common recommendation I saw was 2 hours apart but this is all conjecture from a lay person. Ask the vet.
Another vote for a bland chicken and rice diet here. You want to overcook the rice with a bit more water than usual. If the normal food isn't a problem once the gut flares up it might still take a milder food just to get it to calm down again.

I would stick with it for now if there is no G.I. distress. Get a history of no-vomiting. Then we can slowly and gradually swap it out for a limited-ingredient food.
I wouldn't worry about it right now .... the goal being to see if you can get her innards quieted down.
(She is not a puppy, so you have a good amount of wiggle-room with the unbalanced bland diet ... the diet with no calcium. In fact, it would be simple to balance it if it's successful, and I can walk you through that in a couple of days.)
I would stick with small frequent meals.

Susan, you didn't mention this, but you do not want to give any raw food to this dog who is on antacids.
This goes for any dog on antacids.
Remember that the dog's very caustic stomach acid is one of her major weapons against food-borne pathogens.

Hi Connie,
No, NO raw food for her.
Thanks...
So far no throwing up today. 1/2 cup food 4 times a day, rice and chicken (boiled). Just a thought but could it be anxiety??? but her stomach wouldnt make noise like that i guess.

OK, this is a good start .....
I would stick with this protocol exactly (no other changes, so your journal is clear .... one change at a time) and aim for a history of no vomiting.
If all is well by, say, Tuesday, we'll talk about balancing the bland diet with calcium (please don't do this yourself unless you know the correct amount). That is, if all stays well (no vomiting), I personally would want to stick with this diet for a while, making no change but the correct addition of calcium in a few days.

Well its Saturday 11/29. I started the rice and chicken meal Last Wednesday 11/26. So far she has not gotten sick. However looking over my journal, the pattern was:
11/15,16 - Sick
11/17,18,19,20 - NO
11/21,22,23 - Sick
11/24,25,26,27,28 -NO **Changed food on 11/26 to Chx n Rice
She seems to be doing better mood wise, but maybe its just my wishful thinking. Hard to tell...
Thanks for listening.

That is really good news Susan! I am absolutely no expert, and have nowhere like the knowledge and experience of Betty and Connie, but when Bon and Sugar had the pancreatitis episodes, I had them on poached chicken and mushed rice cooked in the chicken broth for getting on for a week, and it was the turning point for them, bland diet, but appealing to them and so easy to digest, it makes me wonder if that's what Mojo had??
This news has put a big smile on my face, I have been thinking about you both all week! Fingers crossed, she has turned a corner, give yourself permission to take that worried look off your face
