I'll be glad when I can bathe him....he is so itchy from taking off the shoo! tag since it stopped working when he got sick (time to put it back on)...the anesthesia and the tramadol. I have some leave in conditioner that really helps with itching. But I know he isn't supposed to get wet for at least a week I guess?
Now he is being a brat about eating his food. He expects me to cook for him now. I am giving him just enough food to take his meds. Hopefully he'll be hungry enough to go back on his raw food soon. His a petite is pretty ravenous, he just wanted scrambled eggs this morning...not cold raw chicken.

Update...Logan is doing fine and was able to be cone-free for several hours today chilling in the front yard with me with his bento ball. The incision looks almost healed accept for one 1 inch section. I'm trying o keep it as clean as possible, but hard to do when he loves dirt.
Now he looks like a girl from behind. The way the incision is, it looks like a twat! Is that how it always looks when they are neutered? I'll be glad when the hair grows back.

Came upon this late Tresa, so glad he got quick care! Sounds like he's 1/2 way back to his pain in the butt self
Does topical pain relief spray work for dogs?
(whatever you do, do NOT tell him he looks like a girl from behind. I'm sure he'd never recover!)

Vets take varying amounts of the scrotum off. I've seen everything from almost nothing left to the full intact scrotum. Different neutering techniques.
They all look strange until the hair grows back, especially while there's still swelling.
Yeah my vet took it off because she said it would just fill with fluid and be very painful. I'm glad she asked me about that because I didn't know about it.
