Yesterday Thursday:
Routine, Pepcid 5:30, sulf 7:30, food at 8:30 Rx food again per vet. 1/2 cup.
An hour later 9:30 we go for a walk. Walk for a little over an hour, run an errand and back home by 11:30.
I only gave her a little water.
Today Friday: same routine as above. However when arrived home she went to the water bowl and drank. I did not know she did this until seconds after drinking she threw up. Whole kibble, liquid and what almost foamy. She is not feeling well right now I can hear her stomach making noises and she is very clingy. Could it be water? Monday we are to see a specialist.
Went and saw the Specialist yesterday. She was very Good. Took down everything i said and looked over my notes. She said Mojo seems healthy. She did exam and I asked her if she thought Mojo looked like a dog who might have cancer. She said she did not think so. Especially since Mojo gobbles her food down. Mojo has lost 8 lbs. But we believe its because of the Rx food (high protein, low calories) and NO Treats. The Vet wants me to feed her more and keep on this food until the test results are back. She ordered a Cobalamin and Folate. Cobalamin is used as a diagnostic marker for gastrointestinal disease. She believes thats what Mojos issue is. But these tests will assist in diagnose. I am to stop with the pepcid and use Zantec. She will call me in a couple days with results. Also my other vet that recommended the specialist did not send over the previous test results (Ultrasound, X-ray, Bloodwork). So the Specialist will look over these and get back to me. I dont know about Mojo but I sure do feel better after talking with the Specialist.
Thanks everyone for listening and providing advice.
