I have a question about vaccinations. My breeder gave my puppy her 1st set of vaccinations at 6 wks. I want to follow the recommendations of vaccinations at 9 wks and 12 wks. But her has already had a set at 6wks, so my questions is should I wait until 12 wks to give the distemper/parvo vaccination or since she has already had a vaccination, should I move the second set up? Or should I give her a set at 9 wks and 12 wks?

I'm bringing this older post back up hoping someone can give me a little guidance.
My pup had his first DHPPC at 6 weeks. He is now 9 weeks old. I believe Leerburg only gives this vaccine twice and I agree with the wisdom here that fewer vaccinations are better. My question is when is he due for the second(and final)DHPPC? Thank you in advance for your help!

THis is crazy - read what we have written on vaccination on my web site. Read the article on vacinosiss - vaccinating a 6 week old pup is nuts.
Go to my list of training articles and read whats written. Do you dog a favor and don't do this crazy stuff with vaccinations - http://leerburg.com/articles.htm

Just to clarify...I did not vaccinate my 6 week old pup...the breeder did and I totally agree it was a dumb thing to do. Fortunately, other than some loose stool (my fault...started raw too abruptly)my pup is active and seemingly very healthy and I want to keep him that way. So, having had a 6 week DHPPC should he have a second at 9 or at 12 weeks? I don't want to give him more than 2 and then never again without running a titre first. Thank you!
