A slight overbite is often corrected with time. The comments from the OLD AKC trainer are 100% wrong. Just another example of "EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION ABOUT HOW TO RAISE AND TRAIN YOUR DOG - the problem is not many have the experience to back up their opinions"
Bottom canines should be in front of uppers.
Slight overbites are often outgrown. There are
such things as retainers and orthodontics, but if
severe enough, not likely to help. Dentistry is
expensive.
