I visited the Q&A section for feeding a raw diet (wow, it covered everything!)...I only have one question. I did the math to figure out how much to feed my dogs, and for my 90 lb male it came out to 2.7 lbs...and for my 20 lb female it came out to 0.6 lbs...but it seems like a pretty big difference compared to the difference in their quantities on kibble...although, it's possible she's overweight. The vet says she's fine, and I can feel her ribs no problem...but she looks fat, and people are always asking when the litter is due.
I just want to confirm that that's enough. I know I'll have to tamper with it a little depending on how she looks, I guess I'm just nervous because I've never fed raw before.
Your female is full grown, right? If so that looks right. I have a little over a 15 lb. dog and once you see how much food that is you'll know it is enough. I have to break mine into 2 meals or else he looks like he's gonna blow up when he gets done eating.
