At what age on average does a pup reach their full height? The reason I'm wondering is that Kodee, at 5 mos, seems to be so big compared to what I expected of a 5 month old pup. I just recently cut back on his food, as he has filled out quite a bit already as well - he's pretty good size through the chest/shoulder/neck area already, which surprised me. Don't get me wrong, he looks wonderful, is very well-proportioned, but at this age, I wanted to keep him a little slimmer while his hips are developing. (He does have a definite "waist", and I could feel his ribs, but just barely, which is why I reduced his food). I know a dog continues to fill out til about 2 to 2-1/2 yrs old (if I'm wrong, let me know). But I'm wondering when do they normally reach their adult height?
