In the Leerburg article about Feeding the Raw Diet, It says they never give Brewer's yeast. Why is that? I have seen homemade dog treat recipes with it in them. Should I not use it? BW

I can tell you my biggest reason for not giving it:
I don't give gas-producing foods like beans and brewer's yeast to bloat-susceptible dogs.
I was told by a friend/vet tech that if my dog had a UTI that beer was good to give her. Is that not true, because I ave given her beer from time to time. If so then man I am a bad mom.....
