Puppy GSD, 12 Weeks Male.
Okay so I have a question, so far my dog has done very well on the Raw diet. Mainly chicken/turkey Necks/Back and I try to peel off all the fat etc.. Also do some (1 oz) muscle meat/ground beef/turkey lean and some Veggie mix ground up.. (Its the same everyday for 1 week and then it changes a little)
For the most part I follow the diet from Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats - By Kymythy R. Schultze and BARF.
So here is my question.. My dogs poop is normal most of the time (Solid logs), but ever other day around the afternoon or late he will have some water like diarrhea.. And then it will be normal the very next poop.. he has not gone more then a few hours with it.. before he is normal again.
I am not sure I understand.. I do have a RMB in each meal (I think that means Chicken Necks/Backs etc..) I only add maybe 1 oz of muscle meat at dinner time.. So should I stop the muscle meat?
I should say shaped more then hard, when I pick it up it is squishy but keeps its form.. I do notice a stringy poop sometimes and see some bone fragments in it.. That was happening when I was feeding wings, I have switched from wings to necks and backs and have not seen that since.

No, that sounds about right.
Not too squishy, definitely holding shape, but not so dry and hard that it crumbles like chalk.
