He just seemed to be "guarding" when I went past him (without thinking on my part, I guess) to go to another part of the yard, and I wasn't even interested in taking it from him, but I thought he might have thought I was going to?? Does this make any sense?? I will search for that topic, thanks!!

And yet, she gave me a small growl the other day when I walked by. I agree with Steve, raw chicken is high value for a young dog. ETA: I like how she takes her time and chews, so she must not be too worried about me taking it from her and eating it myself....
