The vet doesn't really think he has it, since he tested negative. Hard to get a good sample from pudding. I think he put him on it, just in case, because it has been a long time since the dog has produced logs (never that I have seen). I really monitor the water, but if he wants a drink, he finds it.
This dog loves water so much, that he dug out the dirt from the inside of a 5 gallon bucket, that is buried in the ground. (I was using it to contain bamboo plants...they died) So when the sprinklers go off or it rains, his now empty buried bucket fills up with water. Nasty water too. I put a top on the bucket since.
The intelligence required to put all that together blows me away. He doesn't dig much either, but the effort required to dig out the inside of a buried five gallon bucket is nuts....how did he find it? Why dig in it? Why all the way to the bottom (almost). That is a putting together a series of actions for a result....or coincidence?
He goes out every morning when the lawn sprinklers come on and fights the water. He comes in soaked. It recently poured for an entire day. I mean cats & dogs <sic> and he went outside and just romped in the rain for hours. I should have video taped it. It was puppy funny.
Found muddy dog prints in my shower stall the other day after he went in the sprinklers...It is where I clean him off, after the beach....you think he went there to get cleaned on his own?
He is an amazing little pup. I can't wait to see what he can do when he gets older.
