I really wanted a male Leerburg pup but alas, came on too late...no hope they will breed again. So, if you know of a breeder with similar breeding philosophy, let me know. Thanks,
I have also taken trips over to train and trial with the breeders and their local club - they are AMAZING! And super supportive for the life of your dog.
I wouldn't buy a dog from them.It always cracks me up when breeders want a limited reg, it's funny how they want to stop people doing exactly what they're doing. I have no interest in breeding but if I pay cash for a pup i'll be damned if anythings going to be "limited". This crap only happens here, anywhere else you buy a pup you get your papers, lol
12. Realizing the sad number of unwanted pets in shelters across America, puppies will be given Limited registration with the AKC, allowing participation in AKC events, but limiting breeding rights. Please check with the breeder to find out what will be required to have this lifted.

We do endorsed registration with the KC too. My male came with it, basically the breeder didn't want anyone buying a pup just to breed it. She removes the endorsement when you get a Sch title (not a BH) or the equivilent in your particular sport, along with a hip score. I'd prefer to get the full registration from the get go but it weeds out byb's and not too much hassle.

I know you were searching a couple of years ago, did you get a pup then? If not did you narrow it down to a couple of breeders and want opinions on your short list?
One thing this forum has no shortage of is opinions.......
