WOW Ben! Exciting video, beautiful dog. Talk about a gladiator in training.
And not that I have experience to comment but to an untrained eye it didn't look like he cared about that sleeve too much, quickly spitting it out and heading back for the, not very well protected, guy. Looked like he was really enjoying the work.
How old is Leo now and are you planning something similar for him?
Yeah I'll get a video of him up and going on youtube or something. He's 6 months old now, and about 45 lbs. He's certainly getting the hang of biting a sleeve (I have a soft puppy bite sleeve to play with him). He's also got the "i-don't-care-how-big-you-are-I'm-gonna-bite-your-***" mentality. I've also noticed that he's a growler, and a talker, very vocal about how he feels.
My kids are learning new ways of management, and the big do's and dont's, when it comes to Leo. He's normally very affectionate, social, and loves to play hard. He does however have his "a**hole" switch, which gets bumped "on" mistakingly once in a while, so I've been teaching how to turn it off, and avoid those situations all together. It's a work in progress, but making good headway.
I'm planning on getting him into one of the ring sports, I'd love to get him in Mondio. But it depends on whats around after we move.
