In general the way they're raised isn't bad....its just that they're claiming them as "trained", their showlines and they "socialize" them instead of neutralize them. I did not see any impressive obed work in any of those puppies...looked like preschool to me. I hope nobody would try and do that.
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.
They have a lot of the classic *Danger Will Robinson!!* signs of kennels to avoid:
Prominently displayed claims of the ol' CPDT
Strong use of Celebrity customers or endorsers
Frequent use of " Owners are certified dog trainers...."
Affiliation to bogus training schools "certification for ABC School.."
Mentioning their APDT membership...
It's a shame, the guy is a helper, but all the additional points, I sure wouldn't let a friend go there....
Hearing the opinions of some well respected people on here, and my own opinion of them based purely on what I've read. If it were me personally, I'd find something else. JMO.
(I hear Betty Mathena still has some really nice WL GSD's) *wink*
OMG just came from the site!!!!! SHOWLINES!!!!! SLANT IS THE LAST THING YOU SHOULD SEE ON A WORKING DOG!!! Gonna have to agree with Will here!!! danger danger danger...
WHEN I SEE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL, I'D BE WILLING TO DIE PROTECTING IT.
