I'm sure you all remember the long thread about Logan pooping/not pooping. Well I have implemented the pull over to the side when he signals me by touching me, which he started doing on his own. It worked for a while, he would poop safely...it was all positive. Now he won't poop at all during the bike rides....ok...but he still signals me from time to time and we stop. I swear I didn't do anything different.
Here's his latest thing....never did this before...now he pees while he is running, doesn't miss a stride. I mean its not a problem but ???? My dog is so weird.
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.
we have dogs on the mountain that will crap on the run as they follow their handlers as they ride uphill on a t-bar surface lift , but a piss on the run ?
Tresa, I afraid that you have missed alot with this dog. The dog is now so neurotic that he doesn't know where he should be able to releave himself. He is stressed, confused & completely lost. It's really sad. You are doing this dog great dis-service.
Please re-read some of the posted suggestions here to help you & your dog.
Thanks Connie for the heads up....I haven't seen any other weird peeing issues so far, I hope there is nothing wrong.
?
Neurotic? Stressed?
You're kidding me right? I don't see any neurotic behavior, body language or anything of the like. He never stresses....only refuses to poop unless its where HE wants to. Pee is not an issue.
Doing him a dis-service....how? That's just rude to say the least.
