Dexter has decided to go off his normal food. So I have to change, no big deal but he is reacting to chicken and corn. He is also very picky!
The staff at the store suggested Fromm as they have many flavor to rotate with one or 2 exceptions. Now I have a bag and decided to read the ingredient list and I FOUND chicken cartilage!
Can that cause a problem? My other options are TOTW (3 flavor) and Oven Bake (2 flavor)

Ariane, Fromm grain free? If you are comparing the Fromm grain free with TOTW, the Fromm you would need to stick with the Beef( I think this uses pork cartilage now) or their Pork & Pea Grain Free to avoid chicken.
If you are looking at the Pacific Stream TOTW, no chicken products, other formulas of TOTW ( High Prairie, Wetlands) do have chicken. Southwest Canyon formula(Boar)& Sierra Mountain (lamb) do not .
Fromm & TOTW do not contain corn . Have you been feeding a food with corn?
I decided to go with TOTW as Fromm grain free is hard to get here.
Dexter came from the breeder and was on a food with corn and chicken. After a few months he was itchy and red so we did play with food at the time. Now he is over 3 1/2yo.
The big challenge is that he can be or was very picky and he did refuse to even look at some high end food!
