Agitation harnesses are design for lunging, dogs usually leap a bit upward ... isn't it designed for that?
I highly recommend a custom skijor harness...it can be used with a walkydog or out front. Logan has one I ordered from http://www.nordkyn.com/
He has a skijor harness (don't get the plastic cinch, ask for a metal one).
If you decide to have the dog out in front, an x-back is the best for the dog.
Just whatever you do, DON'T attach the dog to you or the bike with a leash...UNLESS you are using a walkydog, springer or skijor tugline.

Edit reason: fixed broken link
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.
