Boneless meat will easily dissolve in a dog's strong stomach acid. Dogs don't have molars to grind up their food. They only need to be able to tear it into hunks they can swallow. For a big dog, a boneless chicken thigh is one good (but greedy) bite. It will be fine.
Good! He's 110 so pretty big. It just seemed like it would get lodged in his throat. But it's been about 90 minutes now and he hasn't thrown up. Thank you very much for responding.

I'm totally in agreement!
I also agree with the "good but greedy" part.
Your dog seems to have been converted in less than 4 days.

Oh my gosh! I just realized (thank you for the PMs, folks!) that this was BONELESS meat. I wasn't even overly concerned when I thought it was a bone-in-thigh. I figured, worst case would be a very smooth and much smaller piece of that weight-bearing bone might appear in the poop.
But boneless ..... Once the dog swallows it, that hunk o' meat is in big trouble. Tracy said it well ....
