I've trained him to clear the beach of seagulls LOL. I direct him towards a gang of gulls then he circles back, does a touch and I direct him to another gang of seagulls or pigeons. The rules are, he must take direction and must return and touch. I also randomly make him down and wait before returning or sending him. He LOVES this game. I think it scared a guy walking yesterday because he thought he was after him.

haha that's cool. you could get employment at an aircraft landing field as a bird strike team, real job.
we have meat eating birds here and the dogs will ignore every other species except the meat eaters, it is more sinister than yr scenario as the dogs are actually fighting the birds in full defence mode.

Bob...that poor beagle. I saw a couple of vultures one day while walking down the sidewalk. They were picking at a roadkill raccoon. Those birds were huge.
