Anyone ever heard of or experienced a gsd puppy born with no tail? Someone mentioned to me the other day that thier dog gave birth to a pup with no tail. Years ago, I had a gsd/great dane cross that had a very short stub tail. I know there was a name for that, but can't remember it.
Yes... years ago we had a pup with a bit of a tail.. unfortunetly the nerve endings weren't complete.. so the urine just drained out of her when you picked her up.. we put her down at 8 weeks of age.. Also had one other.. but that one was not incontinent.. was spayed and placed as a pet.. These were East / West combination bloodlines.
