I have a pup that will be one year old in may and would like to to start training jumps. I wanted to wait till she was a year old befor i started. She has filled out nicely. Mussel tone is starting to harden and gain lean mussel mass. She is 26" at the shoulder,43-45" long from tip of nose to base of tail, and weighs 80 lbs. I was told to wait till she was a year old befor i started training jumps, for to start earlyer then one year would put to much strain on her hips and i MIGHT not be able to have her OFA'ed. It is my hope to put

a schI title ona her some day. I ask if she is to heavy at this stage in life. we walk but not far. less then one mile a day. I know that bad hips is 25% genetics and 75% owner resonsablity. what would be the best way to train her to do the retrive over a fence.how to get her to like the dumb bell. and how to not chew on it.
