Can anyone give me some advice on what order I should buy the Leerburg DVDs in? I'm interested in training for SchH from the ground up. I don't have a pup yet and would like to watch the videos to gain some knowledge and build some confidence before attempting to train.
I used the "search function" and only found a few post asking the same question I'm asking but there were no replies to those threads.
I am going to put down raising a working puppy, drive focus and grip, then competition heeling to get you started. Heeling is very hard for people and dogs. I think it is the most basic and easily screwed up of the exercises. Then after you have these memorized, I would get whatever tape he has on marker training, look for a club, then get a puppy.
5- Basic Dog Obedience http://leerburg.com/302.htm (not because this is a Schutzhund tape but because you have to learn how to live with a dog and be its friend and leader.
