It all started back in 2003 when Jennifer's son Nicholas was born 10 weeks premature and she knew from then on out her life would be changed forever. At the time, she didn't know it, but her life had been changed for the better.

At 11 months old, Nick was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. Over the years, as she started to learn about disabilities, and have watched him grow into a teenager. She knew and could see that she would need to be a strong advocate for her son. I knew with the statistics of 80% of individuals with disabilities not being able to gain employment opportunities, she would need to step up and do something about this for him. Her dream for this opportunity has surpassed just him, and she wants to create a path for Nick and others to become more valued and accepted in their community. Communities need to see that people with disabilities are just like anyone else.

In May of 2018, a dream was thought of to start a dog treat business out of the love Nick and Jennifer both have for baking and their sweet, loving dog Hemi. In October of 2018, that dream became a reality.

She would not change Nicholas for the world, but she will change the world for him and others, one dog treat at a time.
