Bite Work Training with the Dunn County Sheriff's Department
Earlier this week, Leerburg vice president, Jeff Frawley, took some time out of his day to work with our local K9 handlers. This video shows a few of the highlights of that training. We are very fortunate to have a great group of handlers and dogs in our surrounding area.
Finding and training decoys is often a challenge for smaller departments. Leerbug provides training assistance to our local departments when needed.
We would like to thank UW-Stout for supporting local law enforcement by allowing access to their facilities for training. We had a ton of fun working building searches in the football stadium. We were also able to get some 100-yard flee attacks out on the football field!
Next week, Leerbug is hosting a Police K9 tracking seminar with Kevin Sheldahl. We are looking forward to 3 days of awesome training!
Leerburg is currently producing an online course with Kevin Sheldahl titled, "Decoy Training for the Police K9 Unit." The course has been filmed and is in the editing stage. We will announce its release in a future newsletter, or you can add it to your University watchlist!
