Training the Collar Grab

A lot of dogs get nervous or aggressive when their handler takes a hold of their collar and tries to lead them around.

The following video comes right out of the “collar grab” module in our Intermediate Dog Obedience online course/DVD. We use reward-based training to show how to turn the collar grab into a positive experience for our dog. New trainers will find this one of the most useful skills to train their dogs.
