Question from Patricia: Playing tug with your dog seems to be such an important part of your training system at all levels. I suffer from inoperable shoulder problems and cannot play tug with my dog. Please let me know what else I can do.

If you want to do a bite sport like French Ring and cannot play tug, how do you motivate the dog to return to the handler when being recalled from the decoy? Is it even possible to do it in a protection sport?
