Last night my dog was barking really crazy just for a second. But I did not get up to see when it was. Today when I want to change his water I noticed it was bluish green and there's some kind of pellets in it. I poured it out into a white container to show what it looks like. I'll post the pix in a sec.

Logan is OK!!! Apparently he didn't consume any of it. I'm waiting on animal control to call me today. I saved all the evidence... I found more pellets in his kennel this morning and saved them too. He is safe...slept inside in a crate and can't be in the yard without direct supervision.

Yeah it was tossed into his kennel and most of it was in his water. He was still in his doghouse pouting when I came home and I was only gone for 2 hrs, plus it was cool yesterday so I'm pretty sure he didn't eat any or drink the water. (When I out him in his run, he walks into the doghouse with his head and tail down, lays down sighs, and waits for me to come back, he won't drink or eat usually). I've been keeping a close eye on him and not leaving him outside alone, accept on the back porch where he's safe.
I know what direction they were tossed from (it HAD to be from my neighbor's back yard), I've already had an animal control officer come out and look at the evidence and I am filling out a report. Not sure what I'm going to do next just yet. Idk if its somebody trying to break in...one of my neighbor's told us he heard somebody trying to pry open his back door but he, but he couldn't see anything when he got up...my mom heard it too.

My neighbor claims his dog was drugged by burglars during a planned heist at his home.
That being said, I don't recognize those pellets as being any of the familiar OTC rat poisons. Are they all pellets, or am I seeing some seeds in the water also, such as from bird or hamster food? My previous dog, Tera, died from eating rat bait that was dropped by rats.
If it's just pellets that have appeared, someone may have just thrown some food in Logan's pen. Without knowing whether that's food or poison, you can't tell if someone meant real harm.
The pellets are much smaller than any kind of kibble...plus they turned the water blue green. The animal control officer said she thought it could be poison or fertilizer but she said take it somewhere like a vet or hardware store to ID. I'm about to do that. There's always other debris everyday falling into his water bucket...I dump it every day.
