In this clip, Tyler talks about how and when you should use food rewards when working on leash reactivity. It's important to have a good understanding of your dog's thresholds, use of marker training, and when you should be using food or toys as rewards. The timing of giving your dog a reward is very important to reinforcing the behavior you want. If you're going to use food, I recommend only giving the food reward after you have moved a safe distance away and are outside of the threshold zone.
