I have to say, this is a wonderful topic. I want to thank you for continuing to find ways to help me with my training of my dogs. I am a first time 'working' dog owner, I had no clue about the idea of 'capping' and first heard it here on the leerburg site and was interested in finding out ways to control the dogs vocalization and other bad 'habits'. This informative video is on a subject that I have wondered about forever, and NOW it seems so obvious after it is explained here. I have a much clearer understanding of what is really going on when my dog is vocalizing. Some is involuntary I am sure, but you have helped me see that I have LOTS MORE CONTROL if I choose to take the time to work on the issues that I can... I have a very vocal girl, but see now that some is learned and some is just who she is... Thank you for finding wonderful topics to explain to us. I look forward to every newletter and the information that will be in it. It makes my training time much more productive.
